Drew this sketch of the Limnium distribution relay today during my approach.
Or, as it's better known by Biri's followers: the Temple of Life. Yes, my little creations have all but taken over the place and turned it into their sacred hall to purity. They seem to worship the ideal above anything else. Sometimes I think that keeping their swamp waters clear and free of pollution is their single goal in life. They even managed to tame the spawns I've bred to keep unwanted eyes away from the tower. That… shouldn't have been possible. And it makes me worry that they'll end up failing to do their job one day when it's actually important.
I've heard a few of them call it the “sacred vine” too. A rather apt name, I have to say, what with how it's become so overgrown. I don't THINK it was one of my Kudzu experiments either. Normal vines don't grow that big, nor straight from the water either. The stuff obviously has Limnium grafted into its fibers now. Maybe my little sentry creatures picked up a skill with husbandry somewhere along the way…
Eugh. That's a terrifying thought if so. The gene splicing needed to grow something like that so fast… I thought I was the only one left who could do that.
Regardless, whether a mindless hive dweller or a jealous Limni, at least SOMEBODY is guarding the tower most days. I have more important issues to worry about anyways. Stuff with far more moving parts.
Which reminds me. Hopefully the Terra contraption will fly when the time comes…
